Northland Newfoundland Club
The Northland Newfoundland Club was founded in 1970. The club covers an area from the Catskills north to Lake Placid/Canadian border and from the Mass. - Vermont borders to Utica. There are currently about 60 families in the NNC. Members include pet owners with one Newf all the way to the serious fanciers who breed and show their Newfs.
Northland Newfoundland Club is a recognized regional club of the Newfoundland Club of America (NCA). We highly encourage anyone interested in the Newfoundland breed to browse the NCA's website for information about the breed, health information, puppies and breeders.

Activities
We focus on all aspects of the breed. We have educational activities such as lectures by veterinarians, videos, club library, grooming clinics and obedience lessons. We explore the working aspects of the Newfoundland by carting in parades and festivals, participating in draft tests and by holding water workshops. We do rescue work by finding homes for Newfoundlands in need. Northland participates in many local events. Among those are the Schenectady Christmas Parade, Saratoga Victorian Stroll, Troy Victorian Stroll, Grafton Lake State Park Winterfest. We have social activities such as our Cabin Fever party and an annual Awards Picnic. We try to offer something for everyone - from the novice owner to the experienced breeder.
